Nürnberg – 7

Innsbruck – 64

17th October 2026 – Guest Reporter Train Spot writes…

After a long, (Ed – COMMA!) rainy bus ride and 20 minutes walk down to Nuremberg, our boys came out applying pressure to a very keen and game Nuremberg side leaving the game scoreless until 20 minutes until Omar was able to dot down after a tap penalty. (Ed – Train Spot do you know what a full stop is?)

Innsbruck was then able to take control scoring 21 more unanswered points before Nuremberg was able to push Innsbruck back through some amazing forwards and pods play forcing a fumbling behind the Innsbruck goal line leading to Nuremberg’s first points of the game. Early in the second half things started to get rather chippy resulting in some poor decision making by JOSH ROBERTS which lead to 10 more minutes in the naughty chair and another set of jerseys to be washed by him ” Sorry Michelle” (Ed – what does this mean I am over 30 years old? and where is the full stop it’s the end of a sentence???)

With a beautiful head taped fly half (Ed – this is the author, correct?) Innsbruck was able control the later (sic) half of the game leading to a 64-7 win for the mountain boys.

Thank you to Nuremberg for an amazing day out, an tough physical battle and a Chili that Aryeh Goldsmith hasn’t stopped talking about.
